Gemma Willemsen MA MPC, is the corporate strategic advisor of the Dutch Society for the Protection of Animals and vice chair of the Eurogroup for Animals.
Gemma started her career at Deloitte, and worked as a concern controller at the Dutch Food and Product Safety Authority. After some years as an interim manager she landed at the Dutch Society for the Protection of Animals. In the 12 years that she joined this organization she has fulfilled a variety of management functions, starting at organizational mergers, the inspectorate for animal welfare and programs and political lobby. She currently represents the organization on a strategic level. Gemma lives and works in the Hague.
