Dr Jenny Hutchison is the Head of the World Animal Health Information and Analysis Department (WAHIAD) at the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH, founded in 1924 as OIE). Her department is responsible for the collection, verification, and dissemination of animal health information provided to WOAH. This information contributes to the transparency of the animal health situation worldwide, and supports WOAH’s work in improving animal health and welfare across the globe. Dr Hutchison is a veterinarian, and has a background in food animal production, and specialised in large animal medicine and epidemiology.  She has worked in academia, government, and the private sector, and is now with WOAH, an international organisation.
